Designed to break out the ¹Raspberry Pi 5's suite of UARTS & i2c while at the same time providing headers for power input and 5v & 3.3v out, PLUS ground, and allowing the uninterrupted use of HATs, The GPIO Highjacker does quite a lot!
The 20-Pin header gives access to
- UART0 (Tx/Rx).
- UART1 (Tx/Rx)²
- UART2 (Tx/Rx).
- UART3 (Tx/Rx).
- UART4 (Tx/Rx).
- i2c (Cl/Da).
- 2 x 5v Pins.
- 2 x 3.3v Pins.
- 2 x GND Pins.
- 5v input Pins.
Intended to be used with HATs and soldered to header extenders, the GPIO Highjacker is the first product to come from development of the MountOne GoTo Telescope Mount.
The GPIO Highjacker simplifies the wiring without compromising the use of HATs. Each UART is software controlled in config.txt and can be left unused if not required.

²UART1 is disabled by default as it is used by the EEPROM on HATs.
