MountOne | A 3D Printed GOTO Telescope Mount - Coming Soon™
MountOne is a 3D Printable GOTO Telescope Mount. It is designed to be printable on machines with a build volume of 180x180x180 or larger. It features two 405:1 belt reduction drives. 0.9° Stepper Motors ensure a resolution of 0.5 Arcseconds per step is obtainable at 16x microstepping.
MountOne uses the OnStep Telescope Control Software and electronics to drive the motors and sliprings pass power and communications through the rotating axes without restricting the mount's movement.
Four astrographs will be available on launch.
- 100mm Lens with focus.
- DSLR with full control.
- Canon EF/EF-S Lens Controller.
- Sky-Watcher Skymax 102 OTA with focus (details Soon™).
Each astrograph is managed by the INDI Library running on a Raspberry Pi 5. Focus, guiding, imaging is all performed by INDI. Serial communications between the OnStep PCB and the Raspberry Pi pass unhindered through a slipring.
