The MountOne & Astrographs were developed with Bambu Lab PLA-CF. Final testing and checks were performed with Bambu Lab PETG-CF. Parts were printed using E3D's A1 Series High Flow ObXidian 0.4mm Nozzle. I recommend PETG-CF for the MountOne and Astrographs.
If you hope to develop MountOne yourself, or would like to help support my further development of the MountOne, detailed drawings, datasheets, STEP files and more are available by downloading the MountOne CAD Packs & ordering MountOne Hardware Kits.
Each STL file is named with an x1, x2 ,x3 etc at the end to indicate the number of printed parts required. For the PineFeat Astrograph, only one print of each part is required.
You'll need.
- ~0.5kg of PETG-CF Black.
There are three printed parts, but two parts have two versions. The alternative parts are labelled with the suffix CM5. The CM5 variants should be used if you plan on using the Raspberry Pi Computer Module 5 instead of the Model B. Details in the MountOne Electronics Documentation.
Specific printing recommendations for each part is provided below.
M1-PFx1.stl
Keep the seams off the outer faces.
With the single exception of this small external one. It should be out of view when a lens is installed.
M1-PF-CM5x1.stl
The seams are identical for the CM5 variant.
M1-PF-RINGx1.stl
A recess for the external seam.
And other for the internal.
M1-PF-COVERx1.stl
Keep the seams off the external faces.
M1-PF-COVER-CM5x1.stl
Same as above for the CM5 variant.
EF-S-DEW-SHIELD.stl
This is an optional Dew Shield available from MakerWorld | Download.
